Before you upload

Which ecommerce platforms are supported?

Shopify product CSV rules and Generic CSV cleanup are available now. WooCommerce, Wix Stores, and Squarespace are planned.

How is the target platform detected?

The checker compares exact headers and platform-specific field patterns. You can always choose Shopify or Generic CSV manually.

Is my CSV uploaded to a server?

No. Parsing, checks, and fixes run in your browser. Image URLs are the only data sent out, and only when you start the optional availability check.

Which changes are applied automatically?

Only changes with one clear meaning, such as exact header casing, whitespace, encoding, documented booleans, and unambiguous number formatting.

Does a clean report guarantee an import?

No. Store configuration and platform changes can still affect an import. Keep a backup and test a small import first.

What happens to unknown columns?

Unknown columns are kept and flagged for review, never removed without telling you. Column order and row order stay unchanged in the fixed file.

Can this convert a Shopify CSV to WooCommerce?

Not yet. Checks and fixes target the platform the file is meant for. Cross-platform conversion will be evaluated once more platform rule packs are stable.

What file size is supported?

One .csv file up to 15 MB per check. For larger catalogs, split the file and check each part separately.
